USF invests almost $350K for 14 new coronavirus research projects

The University of South Florida has committed nearly $350,000 toward funding 14 research projects related to the coronavirus. This is on top of a previous investment the university made in research of approximately the same amount. The research projects range across a spectrum of fields, including natural sciences, technology, and humanities.

NMSU creates COVID-19 Rapid Response Team

A COVID-19 response team, led by the university's strategic chief financial officer, has been established at New Mexico State University. The team is charged with determining what a safe transition back to school in the fall will entail, and will oversee the multiple campuses spread out across the state. Already the members are evaluating existing plans for the upcoming semester.
